Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/out processes with efficiency and warmth
- Maintain accurate digital records using EMR systems with data entry precision
- Handle multi-line phone systems and route inquiries appropriately
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and calendar management
- Process insurance verification and demographic updates
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing and correspondence
- Support HIPAA compliance through confidential record handling
Qualifications
- Proven data entry skills with minimum 40 WPM typing accuracy
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong customer service orientation with conflict resolution abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to multitask in high-volume weekend environments
