Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for department leadership
- Handle confidential documents with discretion, including filing and record-keeping
- Process incoming communications (phone, email, mail) and direct inquiries appropriately
- Assist with budget tracking, expense reports, and procurement tasks
- Support event coordination and logistical planning for community initiatives
- Maintain digital filing systems and ensure data accuracy in department databases

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- 3+ years of administrative support experience in local government or public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English and Spanish
