Are you a visionary artist with a passion for bringing stories to life through motion? Apex Digital Media is looking for a talented Senior 2D Animator to join our elite creative team in New York City.
In this role, you will craft high-fidelity animations that captivate audiences across web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with art directors and developers to ensure seamless integration of motion into our digital products.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and produce high-quality 2D animations for digital campaigns.
- Utilize Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator to create fluid motion graphics.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual assets and storyboards.
- Optimize animation files for performance and cross-device compatibility.
- Refine animation sequences based on stakeholder feedback.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in animation and digital design.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in 2D animation.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects.
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating character animation and motion graphics.
- Deep understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash and stretch).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Animation, or a related field.
