We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior 2D Animation Artist to join our creative team in New York. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our client visions to life through compelling 2D motion graphics, character animation, and visual effects.
The Role:
You will work closely with art directors, storyboard artists, and developers to create seamless animations that enhance user experiences across web, mobile, and broadcast platforms. If you have a keen eye for detail and a mastery of the animation principles, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create high-quality 2D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop storyboards and animatics that align with project goals.
- Apply sound design principles and timing to create engaging, fluid motion.
- Optimize animated assets for various digital platforms while maintaining visual fidelity.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to the creative team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques in 2D animation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in 2D animation and motion graphics.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in character animation, typography, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
- Experience with rigging systems and motion capture cleanup is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
