Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and directing inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidential information in electronic health record systems
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and appointment management
- Handle multi-line phone system and triage calls to appropriate departments
- Process insurance verification and collect patient payments
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and correspondence
- Support facility management through inventory control and supply ordering
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- 2+ years of front desk or receptionist experience in healthcare setting
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes
