Chicago Corporate Solutions is currently seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Part-Time Receptionist & Data Entry Clerk to join our administrative team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while managing critical data entry tasks with precision.
As a key member of our front office team, you will bridge the gap between our clients and internal departments, ensuring seamless communication and efficient record-keeping.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, providing exceptional customer service to all callers.
- Perform high-volume data entry tasks into our CRM and database systems with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including packages and courier services.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and coordinating meetings for the management team.
- File documents, maintain organized records, and perform general office administration duties.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed to ensure the office operates efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a similar administrative support role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and typing skills (minimum 45 WPM).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain data integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a part-time schedule (e.g., 20-25 hours per week).
