Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume front-desexception during overnight shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Coordinate patient check-ins, appointment scheduling, and emergency triage
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant electronic health records and data management systems
- Oversee facility security protocols and after-hours visitor access
- Collaborate with night shift medical staff on patient flow and urgent requests
- Process insurance verifications and financial assistance applications
- Prepare daily operational reports for morning shift handover
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical office reception experience required
- Proven expertise in EMR/EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Exceptional crisis management and de-escalation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail with 99.5% data accuracy in patient records
- Ability to work independently with minimal overnight supervision
