Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/check-out processes with accuracy and empathy
- Answer multi-line phone systems and route calls appropriately
- Schedule patient appointments using Epic EMR system
- Process insurance verification and collect co-pays
- Maintain secure patient records and confidential information
- Coordinate with clinical staff for urgent patient needs
- Prepare daily reports and manage office supplies inventory
- Assist with light clerical duties (filing, scanning, data entry)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year receptionist or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends
