Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/check-out processes with precision and empathy during overnight hours
- Handle multi-line phone system, triage urgent calls, and schedule appointments efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Coordinate with overnight medical staff for urgent patient needs
- Process insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Prepare daily reports and ensure lobby area remains secure and welcoming
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year receptionist or customer service experience
- Proficiency in medical software (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Exceptional communication skills in high-pressure situations
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
