Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations during evening shifts (5:00 PM - 1:00 AM), including patient check-in/out and appointment scheduling
- Answer and direct incoming calls, triage urgent matters, and maintain accurate call logs
- Process insurance verification, collect payments, and manage patient records using EHR systems
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and resolve service issues
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area with necessary supplies and informational materials
- Handle confidential patient information with strict HIPAA compliance
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and inventory management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in healthcare administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years of front desk/reception experience in healthcare setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and Microsoft Office Suite
