Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM), including patient check-in/check-out and appointment coordination
- Handle multi-line phone system with professionalism, directing calls and taking accurate messages
- Process patient registrations using EMR software while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate with medical staff for urgent patient needs and emergency protocols
- Manage visitor access and maintain secure facility access procedures
- Prepare daily reports and ensure accurate documentation of night shift activities
- Assist with light administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and supply inventory
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in front desk or customer service role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
