Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations during evening shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Screen and direct patients/visitors with professionalism and empathy
- Handle multi-line phone systems and schedule appointments
- Process patient registrations and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with clinical staff for urgent after-hours needs
- Ensure security protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Prepare daily reports and manage office supplies inventory
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year receptionist or customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred
- Valid Maryland driver's license (if transporting patients)
