Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and handle correspondence for department heads
- Process administrative documents including permits, forms, and public records requests
- Maintain digital filing systems and ensure data accuracy across municipal databases
- Provide frontline customer service via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Coordinate office logistics including supplies, equipment maintenance, and event support
- Assist with budget tracking and expense report preparation
- Support cross-departmental projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- 2+ years of administrative support experience in government or public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio municipal regulations and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
