Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, professional greeting to all visitors, patients, and vendors to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer and direct phone calls efficiently using a multi-line phone system and take accurate messages.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and email correspondence in a timely manner.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our electronic health records (EHR) system.
- Process insurance verification and handle front desk check-in/check-out procedures accurately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, waiting room, and common areas.
- Assist with basic data entry, filing, and supply inventory management as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scheduling software.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
