Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors and patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a professional first impression.
- Manage the front desk operations, including answering multi-line phones, directing calls, and managing email inquiries.
- Check patients in and out, verify insurance information, and collect copays accurately.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for the weekend staff, ensuring no conflicts arise.
- Maintain the reception area and common areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
- Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed to support the weekend team.
- Handle sensitive patient information with strict adherence to privacy regulations (HIPAA).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or prior administrative experience preferred.
- Previous experience as a Receptionist or Front Desk Associate is highly desirable.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
