Job Overview
The Weekend Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. You will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling incoming communications, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office during weekends.
Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and emails efficiently.
- Greet and check in visitors, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks including data entry and filing.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and lobby.
- Handle cash handling and petty cash reconciliation as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
