Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all patients, visitors, and vendors entering the facility on weekends.
- Phone Operations: Manage a high volume of incoming calls with patience and efficiency, routing them to the appropriate departments or staff members.
- Check-In Procedures: Assist patients with check-in processes, including verifying insurance information and updating patient records in our internal systems.
- Scheduling Support: Coordinate and schedule appointments for the weekend shifts, ensuring the calendar is organized and up-to-date.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Issue Resolution: Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly, escalating complex issues to the floor manager when necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist or front desk assistant is preferred; weekend availability is mandatory.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
