Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/out procedures using Epic EHR system
- Coordinate multi-line phone system with 50+ daily calls
- Process insurance verification and collect co-pays
- Manage appointment scheduling and calendar maintenance
- Prepare and distribute daily correspondence
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records
- Coordinate with clinical teams for patient flow optimization
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years receptionist/front desk experience
- Proficiency in medical office software (Epic/Medent preferred)
- Exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills
- Strong customer service orientation with empathy
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of insurance verification processes
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
