Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls to the appropriate personnel in a timely and courteous fashion.
- Manage the front desk reception area, ensuring it remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times.
- Sort and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries to the correct departments or individuals.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining the company calendar.
- Handle customer inquiries via email or in person, providing accurate information and escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Perform basic data entry and administrative tasks to support office operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk administrator, or in a similar administrative support role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting packages or moving office furniture when required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are preferred.
