Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and phone triage
- Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Handle administrative tasks: mail processing, supply inventory, and insurance verification
- Resolve patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Uphold strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Contribute to a positive team environment through collaboration
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- 1+ years experience in customer service or administrative roles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced healthcare environment
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
