Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Greet and direct visitors, vendors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Communication Management: Handle incoming calls, emails, and intercom communications efficiently, routing messages to the appropriate departments.
- Data Management: Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date visitor logs, security access cards, and facility records.
- Security Oversight: Control building access by verifying credentials of all entrants and monitoring security systems during the overnight shift.
- Administrative Support: Assist with mail distribution, overnight courier coordination, and general office upkeep to ensure the facility is ready for the next day.
- Issue Resolution: Address visitor inquiries and resolve minor issues independently or escalate to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
