Responsibilities
- Develop scenario-based forecasts for 2026+ technological and societal shifts using predictive analytics and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof solutions
- Deliver executive briefings on disruption risks and market evolution
- Design strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Establish KPI frameworks for future-readiness maturity
- Author forward-looking thought leadership for industry publications
- Manage a portfolio of innovation partnerships with research institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant STEM field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Expertise in trend analysis using tools like Delphi methods, SWOT, and PESTLE
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred) or Innovation Management
