Responsibilities
- Manage multi-line phone systems with 50+ daily calls, routing inquiries to appropriate departments
- Coordinate patient check-ins using EMR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Process insurance verifications and manage appointment scheduling for 15+ providers
- Oversee visitor protocols including badge issuance and escort procedures
- Manage inventory of office supplies and reception area materials
- Prepare daily reports for patient flow and front desk metrics
- Coordinate courier services and mail distribution for 100+ employees
Qualifications
- 3+ years of executive receptionist or high-volume front desk experience
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred) and MS Office Suite
- Exceptional multitasking abilities in fast-paced healthcare environments
- Valid Florida Notary Public commission (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
- Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- Spanish bilingual proficiency strongly preferred
