Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Greet visitors warmly and direct them to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Communication Hub: Answer and route multi-line phones professionally, take detailed messages, and respond to general inquiries via email.
- Administrative Support: Manage incoming and outgoing mail, handle faxes, and assist with data entry and filing.
- Scheduling: Maintain the company calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meeting rooms.
- Customer Relations: Assist customers with basic requests and ensure a positive experience for everyone entering the office.
- Office Maintenance: Keep the reception area tidy and organized, and restock supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required; some college or vocational training is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including potential weekend or evening shifts.
