Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all database environments.
- Perform performance tuning and database maintenance to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate with data architects to implement scalable data models.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
- Automate data extraction processes using ETL tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience with SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or PostgreSQL).
- Deep understanding of database normalization and indexing strategies.
- Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash is a plus.
