Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithm architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical system integrations with cloud platforms
- Develop quantum error mitigation protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with AI teams to optimize machine learning workflows
- Create security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages
- Research emerging quantum hardware technologies and benchmark performance
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq with portfolio of deployed systems
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in top quantum computing journals/conferences
- Experience with cloud quantum services (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in cryptography and cybersecurity principles
- Track record of leading technical teams through product launches
