Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models for real-world optimization problems
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography, simulation, and AI applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware integration gaps
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in top-tier journals/conferences
- Drive quantum security protocols for next-gen blockchain systems
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to deploy quantum solutions in production environments
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research (Nature/IEEE publications)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business value for stakeholders
