Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms with <1% error rates for financial modeling simulations
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-safe cryptographic protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning pipelines for drug discovery
- Optimize qubit coherence times in superconducting circuits below 100Ξs
- Architect cloud-native quantum computing platforms with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
- File patents for novel quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum information theory
- Expertise in Shor's algorithm, Grover's search, and quantum Fourier transforms
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and dilution refrigerators
- Security clearance preferred for DoD quantum projects
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
