Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize quantum algorithms for machine learning applications (e.g., VQE, QAOA, Quantum Neural Networks).
- Bridge the gap between classical AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and quantum hardware interfaces (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane).
- Conduct research to identify quantum advantages for specific industry problems in finance, logistics, and biotech.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to improve noise resilience and error correction protocols for near-term quantum devices.
- Mentor junior researchers and engineers in quantum programming and AI best practices.
- Document architectural decisions and present technical roadmaps to stakeholders and investors.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically in Python, C++, or Rust.
- Proven experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Strong background in classical machine learning, deep learning, and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with quantum error mitigation and fault-tolerant computing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
