The Role:

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI).
- Architect and optimize database schemas and queries for high throughput and low latency.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services securely.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards.
- Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to define technical requirements.
- Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards (SOC2).
- Participate in the full CI/CD pipeline, including automated testing and deployment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Python.
- Strong proficiency in Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and asynchronous processing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
