Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of stadium IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with the 2026 World Cup master schedule.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including network engineers, systems integrators, and third-party vendors, to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to technology integration, budget, and timeline constraints.
- Oversee the deployment of cutting-edge 5G and Wi-Fi 6 networks in major sporting venues.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, compliance regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and blockers to executive stakeholders and global leadership.
- Drive post-event legacy planning, ensuring sustainable technology solutions remain in place post-2026.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management, specifically within IT infrastructure, telecommunications, or large-scale event management.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets and complex technical projects.
- PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, broadcast technology, and smart venue solutions.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Travel required to various project sites and venues.
