Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent filings, and academic research to predict industry shifts by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future capabilities
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global innovation forums
- Advise product teams on long-term R&D priorities and moonshot initiatives
- Build and maintain a network of academic, corporate, and government innovation partners
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of predicting market disruptions (3+ case studies required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario modeling skills
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend forecasting tools
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Published work in technology foresight or innovation strategy (preferred)
