Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum, biotech, AGI) and translate insights into 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' with engineers, designers, and policy experts
- Develop ethical frameworks for emerging technologies in partnership with UNESCO and IEEE
- Present foresight findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build proprietary trend-forecasting models using machine learning and human intelligence
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at Davos, SXSW, and global futurist conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier publications
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on future-proofing strategies
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into actionable business plans
