Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework, integrating AI, biotech, and climate tech trends
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders to map future industry disruptions
- Author annual 'Future State' reports distributed to Fortune 500 partners and policymakers
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio funding moonshot projects with exponential potential
- Build and lead a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex foresight insights into actionable product roadmaps for engineering teams
- Represent Horizon at Davos, TED, and other future-focused global forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent interdisciplinary field
- Published portfolio of scenario-planning work with measurable industry impact
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven ability to translate foresight into executive-level business strategy
- Experience managing cross-cultural innovation teams in matrix organizations
- Deep understanding of global megatrends affecting 2026+ landscapes
