Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging trends with 3-5 year impact
- Author quarterly trend briefings and annual futurist reports for executive stakeholders
- Design scenario-planning models for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum, bioengineering)
- Lead innovation workshops with product and engineering teams to embed foresight
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or related futurist role
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
