Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive foresight research and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions.
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks and scenarios to inform long-term business strategy.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate futuristic insights into corporate planning and decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional innovation projects, from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with future trends.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations.
- Build and nurture a network of external futurists, industry experts, and thought leaders.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in developing foresight capabilities.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation, or a foresight role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic foresight initiatives in a corporate or consulting environment.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies, global trends, and their potential impact on industries.
- Experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and other foresight methodologies.
- Preferred: Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies.
