Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year strategic roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders
- Conduct horizon scanning across emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Author white papers on future disruption vectors for industry conferences
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio with venture-style evaluation frameworks
- Build and mentor a high-performing foresight team of 4-6 specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ in futurism or innovation roles
- Proven track record of scaling products from concept to market leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Expertise in systems thinking and complex adaptive systems modeling
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., Shell GameChanger, CSO)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios implemented in commercial products
- Experience with venture capital due diligence processes
