Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing products/services
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven scenario planning
- Build and mentor an innovation lab team focused on next-generation market opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry think tanks
- Drive adoption of agile innovation methodologies across 15+ departments
- Author annual Future State reports influencing $500M+ investment decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching tech-driven ventures with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., ICF, Foresight Practitioner)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations
