Responsibilities
- Architect 2026-2030 tech roadmaps incorporating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-positive solutions
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI ethics, blockchain integration, and biotech convergence
- Partner with product teams to commercialize emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop patent strategies for next-gen innovations in autonomous systems and spatial computing
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and regulatory shifts affecting 2026 digital infrastructure
- Present visionary frameworks to investors and board members securing $50M+ annual R&D budget
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with proven impact on 2020+ digital transformation
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or carbon-negative tech
- Published thought leadership in IEEE/ACM journals or equivalent industry publications
- Experience securing federal/state grants for future-tech initiatives (e.g., CHIPS Act, NSF programs)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialization of futuristic technologies
- Certification in Quantum Computing Architecture (IBM/Qiskit) or equivalent
