Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, biocomputing, decentralized networks)
- Collaborate with C-suite to align innovation portfolios with 2026 market projections
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Build and mentor a cross-functional futurist team
- Author white papers on disruptive tech with 5-year impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI alignment
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- PhD or equivalent in emerging technology field preferred
