Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Innovation Roadmap with quarterly strategic pivots
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy
- Present future scenarios to Fortune 500 clients and government entities
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with 15+ concurrent projects
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Author annual 'State of 2026' whitepapers with global impact
- Represent the company at Davos, Web Summit, and premier futurist forums
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or advanced R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least 3 of these domains: AI ethics, climate tech, neuro-interfaces, space economy
- Exceptional systems modeling and scenario-planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in top-tier futurist journals (e.g., Future Journal, Long Range Planning)
- Experience advising Fortune 100 companies on transformational strategy
- Fluency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
