Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and societal shifts to inform 5-year strategic planning
- Design and lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping future-facing solutions
- Develop scenario-based resilience models for business continuity in volatile futures
- Present strategic foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Create innovation KPIs and track adoption of future-state technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in tech or Fortune 500 environments
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on future trends or innovation strategy
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level storytelling
