Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their business implications through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for market disruption and competitive positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product development priorities
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Report' with data-backed forecasts and risk assessments
- Advise executive leadership on long-term resource allocation and innovation portfolio strategy
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to accelerate foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Strong data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related technical field
- Published thought leadership in technology or business futurism (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
