Responsibilities
- Analyze technological, economic, and societal trends to develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps and innovation initiatives
- Develop quantitative and qualitative models for predicting market disruptions and emerging opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate future-focused insights into prototype development and testing
- Deliver executive-level presentations on future trends and strategic implications to stakeholders
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Champion ethical innovation practices while navigating complex technological and societal implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for translating complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience with data visualization tools and predictive modeling platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented based on future insights
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent professional recognition
