Responsibilities
- Analyze global mega-trends, exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech), and behavioral shifts to develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives across finance, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors
- Author high-impact trend reports and innovation roadmaps published in industry journals
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market viability
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Present strategic insights at Davos-level summits and client board meetings
- Drive organizational adoption of foresight methodologies through training and change management
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic consulting, innovation, or corporate futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals or major business media
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and cross-impact matrix analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies' socioeconomic implications
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation initiatives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or APF)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presence for C-suite audiences
