Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends in technology, climate, geopolitics, and social dynamics to forecast 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks that inform strategic business decisions and product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies across R&D, marketing, and operations teams
- Produce high-impact trend reports and predictive models for C-suite stakeholders and key clients
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Build and maintain an international network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex foresight findings into actionable business strategies and innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing scenario-planning methodologies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to process multidisciplinary data sets
- Strong presentation skills with experience advising executive leadership teams
- Published thought leadership in futures, technology, or innovation domains
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prediction of market shifts or technological disruptions
