Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Architect strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers
- Manage innovation portfolio with $5M+ annual budget allocation
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AGI, and biotech convergence trends
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published author in innovation or technology foresight journals
- Experience leading global teams across multiple time zones
