Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational growth targets and emerging market demands
- Architect proof-of-concept frameworks for emerging technologies and secure executive buy-in through compelling data narratives
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable product development pipelines
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders at industry summits
- Build and mentor a high-performing foresight team while fostering cross-functional collaboration
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting technological adoption and advise on adaptive strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech research with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercialized products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI ethics, quantum computing applications, or climate tech
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFP, APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable ROI
