Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and societal trends to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Author high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning documents for client decision-making
- Identify disruptive opportunities across industries including quantum computing, neurotech, and climate adaptation
- Mentor junior strategists and build proprietary foresight methodologies
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global innovation forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with proven client impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or client transformation initiatives
- Strong network with futurist communities and innovation thought leaders
