Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting our industry through 2026+
- Develop and maintain the corporate innovation roadmap with measurable milestones and KPIs
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios and strategic priorities
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate breakthrough technologies and validate market opportunities
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership content on future trends and strategic implications
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through data-driven scenario modeling
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and societal shifts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Track record of developing and implementing successful innovation frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data modeling and forecasting tools
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Innovation preferred
